Black Friday in 2015 is on Friday November 27. It comes the day after Thanksgiving in the United States and is followed by Cyber Monday on the Monday after. This year it comes a day earlier as last year which fell on the 28th of November.
Although it’s not a national holiday, most offices are closed in observance of Thanksgiving or, if there is no PTO (paid time off), it’s a popular day for employees to take a day off from work to have a 4-day weekend. Black Friday is a also known as the unofficial start to the holiday shopping season with most of the top retailers offering extra discounts and special doorbuster deals. Traditionally the deals would be exclusive to customers show would come in-store as early as 4:00am, we’ve seen the trend extend to Thanksgiving day all the way through Sunday.
